Grab the Free Plan: Coastal Shared Kid Bedroom DesignĪnd here is the plan I came up with for our Shared Kid’s Bedroom! Since I have two girls and a boy, I wanted a gender neutral space that had a coastal feeling of being on a lake. So I came up with a plan to use three twin beds. Between the door and window placements and the sloped ceiling, bunk beds weren’t going to work. My first thought was to use bunk beds, but the room ended up being trickier than a thought. It happens to be the largest bedroom in the place, so we decided to turn it into a Shared Kid Bedrooms for our three kiddos: ages 11, 9, and 7. And next week (which is the final week) I’m going to share the biggest part of our Lakehouse Makeover: The Living Room, Dining Room, and Breakfast Room! So we were thrilled when we found a great deal on this lake front cottage: the perfect location…but not so perfect interior. I live in Michigan, and the summer is all about being near the water (that is why we all stick around during the winter months). But for the last month I’ve been sharing something different around here…a peek into my own home! If this your first time here, you are jumping in right in the middle of a 6 Week long Makeover!
